Here for sale we have a lovely vintage milk jug or creamer. Manufactured by Royal Doulton, it is crafted from porcelain, & has a transferware design. With a simple mid century shape, it has a cream background, with mint green on the handle. The design depicts delicate bird detailing, with grouse flying in woodland. The colours are muted browns & greens. It's a sturdy piece with a capacity for half a pint or 284 ml. This design, called The Coppice, was in use from 1937 - 1964, & this piece dates to the 1950's. It measures 9.5 cm or 3.75 inches in height, & the condition is very good. It would be ideal for milk, cream, or even a small posy. A lovely addition to any room. Thank you so much for looking!
