All of the blanket options are great, but for different reasons. Please see the blanket buying guide in the photos. If you plan on using the blanket for the full first year, either the 50x60 or 40x60 is a better choice than the 30x40. My personal favorites are the 50x60 sherpa backed blankets. They are so snuggly & soft that my own kids keep sneaking off with the baby blankets because they love snuggling in them when they read or watch tv. The front (printed) side is the smooth fleece,They are huge, so the baby can be photographed on them to one year & even beyond. This listing is for the blanket only.
