This handmade lampshade is made from lovely, original, 1970's fabric & finished to a high quality. Lampshade measures 15cm diameter by 28 cm tall. Also available from my shop are these solid wood, hand-turned bases. Please be aware that the fabric I use is genuinely from the 60s, 70s & 80s & therefore often 40-50 years old so while I do my very best to ensure the products are of the highest quality the fabric may not look like it just came out of a haberdashery. My products are all beautiful one offs! You may not recieve the one in the picture but if not, it will be very similar. The panel used in the lampshade has been tested in the Lighting Association Laboratories & has passed the glow wire test which is the British Standard for Luminaries. The electrical components are supplied by LampSpares. in particular the CLC pre-wired cable set including moulded plug, twin flex & in-line switch. These come ready assembled & tested, & comply with both CE mark & Kite (BSI) mark compliance. The lamp holder is non-metallic & does not require an earth connection. The lamp holders are made by Arditi & are small ES (Edison Screw) fittings ideal for a wide range of 240v ac LED lamps. All my products are handmade in Plymouth, Devon!
