I believe that the first drink of the day should be in a beautiful wheel-thrown mug - it's a daily ritual which deserves to be enjoyed to the fullest! A large one of a kind, handmade ceramic mug in a matte turquoise green with patches of soft black. The inside is finished in a glossy white glaze to enable ease of cleaning. The outside of the mug has a resist pattern where fine lines of the natural clay is left bare, a truly unique mug. The inside of the mug has been glazed in a glossy white to enable ease of cleaning. Quite finely thrown, so it is lightweight. The handle was pulled in the traditional way & fits your (3) fingers perfectly. This elegant mug was wheel-thrown using stoneware clay & the base has been sanded smooth, so as not to scratch the surface it is placed upon. Photographs & video show actual item available, the last one shows it outside where it may look more blue. All items are similar but not identical due to the nature of handmade. The perfect gift for a coffee or tea lover! Wheel-thrown & altered with love in my cosy Wiltshire (UK) studio. Made from stoneware clay & glazed using food safe glazes. Twice fired upto 1200c in my electric kiln. Dishwasher & microwave safe, however to retain its ravishing good looks, I recommend washing by hand!
