I believe that the first drink of the day should be in a beautiful wheel-thrown mug - it's a daily ritual which deserves to be enjoyed to the fullest! Handmade from a ball of stoneware clay using a potters wheel, in my cosy Wiltshire (UK) studio. Texture was carved into the body of the mug to allow the glaze to 'break' & give further interest. Thrown fairly finely, so it is quite lightweight. Finished, both inside & outside, in a gorgeous combination of glazes in sea green with rust & soft black flowing down from the rim. The handle was pulled in the traditional way & fits three fingers perfectly, it also has a fern leaf texture. Made from stoneware clay & glazed using food safe glazes. Twice fired upto 1200c in my electric kiln. The base has been sanded smooth to ensure your surfaces are safe. Photographs & video show actual item currently available. All items are similar but not identical due to the nature of handmade. The perfect gift for a coffee or tea lover! Dishwasher & microwave safe, however to retain its ravishing good looks, I recommend washing by hand! Each mug is made individually by me, one by one. They are all unique & one of a kind.
