Rare Talavera art pottery bowl hand decorated in traditional colors - Cobalt blue, russet red, yellow ochre & green. The pattern is one of a kind with a blending of nature with geometric patterns. The bowl is 10 1/2 inches wide & 4 inches high. The piece measures 13 inches wide including its 2 handles. The rustic terracotta bowl is in excellent condition...no damage or repairs. Talavera pottery of this age frequently has slight irregularities in the hand applied glaze. Also this nice example of Mexican folk art is not signed.
