Only the inside of the black bowl is painted with white porcelain & finished with a matte glaze, while the outside is unglazed & pleasantly rough. The Cream bowl is glazed all over with a matte glaze. The bowls have very warm, earthy colors that maintain the beautiful tones of the clay. This will make a great gift! It will arrive safe & sound, packaged beautifully with extra care!
