Unique & charming brass candle holder with Warwick Castle Bear & Ragged Staff handle. The Warwick bear & ragged staff origins are lost in the distant past but have been associated with The Earls of Warwick since the early as the 14th Century. The candleholder has a nice weight to it & is lovely to hold. The underneath of the handle has two feet to stop the holder tipping up when placed on a surface. The candle holder measures: Length (including the handle) - Approx. 21cm Width (widest point) - Approx. 12cm The candle holder has a few minor signs of wear, which is to be expected but overall is in lovely condition for its age & has a beautiful timeworn patina. Please note this is a vintage item that has lived a previous life so will have signs of wear, I think this adds to the look & charm of the piece but please be aware the item will not be perfect.
