Beautiful Sholm stoneware, stentoj, table lamp model 1047 designed by Einar Johansen in the 1960s. The base colour of the lamp has different shades of brown a over a nice repeating pattern. The lamp is in good condition. Height of the lamp (including the socket) 22 cm. Diameter 13.5 cm. The weight is 718 grams. The lamp will be fitted with new wiring, but without a power plug. Please note: It's made for a E27 light bulb large fitting. Suitable for European continental sockets & grid (220V). This may be different in your country, consult an electrician before installing if you're not sure. A universal adapter may be all you need to use it normally. The Sholm ceramics factory was founded in 1835 in Rnne on the Danish Island of Bornholm. It was closed in 1996. During its existence the Sholm factory produced many iconic & highly collectable pieces. Main designers for Sholm where Noomi Backhausen , Einar Johansen, Maria Philippi , Paul Brandborg, Rigmor Nielsen, Josef Simon, Gerd Hjort Petersen & Per Rehfeldt Most post 1964 pottery from Sholm is stoneware (stentoj in Danish).
