This superb overmantel mirror is in great condition. An exceptionally decorative piece, made up of thirteen mirrored pieces. Ten light copper/peach pieces making up the outer section of the mirror. There are two inner mirrored pieces with a rear etched sinuous floral design running along the length. The main centre mirror has some rear etched floral designs & a line that follows the shape of this piece. The centre mirror is held in place with claw clips along the bottom edge & chrome capped screws along the top edge. The outer coloured sections are held in place with traditional metal clips & the chrome capped screws. All the mirrored sections are mounted on a wooden backboard which is secured directly to the wall. There are no chips, nibbles or deep scratches. There is no silvering loss or foxing, in essence this mirror is a quality item ready to grace any room. A great centre piece.
