A wonderful showcase from the Art Deco period. The upper part is a shelf with sliding glass doors, & the lower drawer is slightly larger & has a shelf in the middle & closes with a door. The processing itself is wonderful as the display case has wonderful details such as curved edges, the veneer has a wonderful structure. The display case is perfectly preserved, of course with some traces of use & a venerable age of around 100 years. The glass is also original & beautifully preserved with a ground edge for easier opening. According to the story, the chest of drawers was made in 1913 & was an heirloom of a wealthy family.
