Don't heat liquids or food directly in the mugit can damage the coating. A Note on Stains: The Enamel Mug is susceptible to staining. This is a normal characteristic of enamel products & not specific to our mug alone. Due to the enamel's rough & porous surface texture stains may accumulate over time. If you're uncomfortable with this feature stains can be effectively removed by applying lemon juice or soda to the affected area & gently scrubbing with a sponge.
