Description
This is an original map, first illustrated, then printed in house on our letterpress, & completed with a watercolor wash along the shorelines. It is printed on 100% cotton paper. Unframed, but easily fits in a standard frame. SHIPPING This map will be carefully packed in a cellophane sleeve, nestled between two pieces of sturdy cardboard, & shipped in a firm flat mailer. I create all the QLP art first by making a drawing. I then convert that drawing into a photopolymer plate, which is a relief plate (like a woodcut or linocut block). These plates are metal backed & placed on a large magnet that sits on the press. After inking up the press we are then able to run paper through the machine & over this plate.
