A hand-thrown pottery mug with a capacity of 1/2 pint+ (300 ml), in a stoneware clay blended by Arthur from ball clay & molochite. It is approx. 10 cms tall & 9.5 cms at the rim. The glazes are made from raw materials & Arthur's own recipes. The item is fired to 1260oC to render the body vitreous & ideal for liquids. A pleasure to handle, this ceramic is sturdy, yet lightweight, ideal for that morning coffee, afternoon tea or hot chocolate in the evening. An excellent gift for family member or friend.
