Description

A hand-thrown pottery vessel, designed primarily as a utensil jar, pot, holder, container but with other uses, as a flower vase for example. It has been made in a stoneware clay, blended by Arthur from ball clay & molochite & finished with rich glazes made from his own recipes. Having been fired to 1260oC, the pot is vitreous, strong, yet light-weight. It measures approx. 20 cms in height & approx. 12 cms at the rim, thus providing a stable container for metal & wooden utensils. This studio ceramic would enhance both traditional & contemporary environments & provide an ideal gift for family member or friend.
