Christmas horse quilt - couch throw . Handmade farm quilt with mare & foal. This is an ideal gift for that horse person on your list. Beautiful holiday couch throw; a perfect way to accent your home for the holidays. This quilt is made from a quality cotton panel Three Horses' designed by Susan Winget. I added border & careful outline quilting to enhance the great design of this winter panel. It is lined with a cozy polyester batting by Fairfield & backed with a pale blue gingham cotton flannel for a soft warm cuddly feel. This quilt is made to last & be used from year to year. To bring out the beauty of the design on this quilt, I quilted this piece using a hand guide machine to accent the pattern details & then added a little meandering to keep the layers evenly quilted. The result is a more dynamic quilt. The double fold cotton French binding is sewn by machine to the front & the back. Machine wash & dry, using mild detergent & warm temperature to maintain the colors of the quilt. Do not hang in direct sunlight to dry as cotton fabrics fade quickly in sunlight.
