This porcelain candle holder is hand made of translucent porcelain casting. The cut-outs allow the candle light to shine through . There is a special effect when it is dark & the candle is lit. The gold rim & the small dots inside the heart are afixed after the first firing with special ceramic 12k gold stain which is then fired in an additional firing & therefore is resistant to heat. This tea light creates a warm & romantic atmosphere. It is a perfect gift for Valentines Day or any romantic occassion.
