At Ragnarok Designs all of our furniture is designs, engineered & built to last a lifetime. This live edge version of our industrial/reclaimed style bench with back & steel legs are available with different style legs to compliment our dining tables. The faux live edge makes this bench stand out & will compliment our live edge range of dining tables, or looks great as a stand alone piece of furniture. This bench makes a simple & cost effective seating solution to complement rustic industrial tables. Our matching tables have leg spacing 20cm shorter than the overall length. So, if you want to push the bench under the table when not in use you will need to order a bench 20cm shorter, for example a 140cm table would require a 120cm bench. The legs are made from fully welded 25 x 50cm box section 2mm thick steel which has been finished in a clear durable lacquer. The extra wide base plates & insert & bolt fixing method means that these bench are easy to assemble, are very stable & built to endure family life. The tops are 35mm thick wood which has been sanded to 240 grit although the natural markings & industrial character has been retained & a faux live edge has been created. The wood is then finished in Briwax, a premium quality furniture wax which is available in a wide variety of colours. We use threaded furniture inserts & industrial grade fixings - you'll just need a 10mm spanner for assembly.
