Han Dynasty small to medium size pottery jars. Genuine near 2000 year old pieces. Choice of 6 available. The Han dynasty was the second imperial dynasty of China 202 BC-220 AD. in 111 BC, the powerful Chinese Han dynasty conquered the then Nam Vit kingdom during its expansion southward & incorporated what is now northern Vietnam into its territory. This was the First of four periods of Chinese rule of Vietnam & Lasted till 40AD. Chinese domination finally came to an end in the 10th century. These Han Chinese/Viet jars were utilitarian storage pieces. Early wheel spun pottery. Still traces of thick or paper fine glazes. Found buried in the Red River Delta area of Northern Vietnam. in good condition their age, may have small chips in the rim.
