Love A photograph of a beautiful cockle shell heart, perfect for the one you love. I made this heart on the beach in Cleethorpes, on Lincolnshire's coast. Cleethorpes is the beach where I spend most of my time walking & beach combing. All the seaside treasure I have used to decorate this frame were collected on the beach in Cleethorpes, apart from the tiny Cowri shells ... they came from Sutton on Sea. I never visit a beach without starting a collection of interesting finds... pieces of sea glass, pottery, pebbles, shells or drift wood. For this picture I have chosen seaside treasures which complement each other perfectly, giving a real feel of seaside love, coast & beach life. I spend a long time laying out the shells first, matching colours, shapes & sizes. Once I am happy with the overall design, each piece is then carefully glued into place. Love is a piece of art that would look lovely in any room of the house. It would make a lovely gift for any seaside / beach lover or a gift for Valentine's Day. The white box frame measures 27cm x 27cm (10.5inch x 10.5inch). The frame has a stand but can also be hung on a wall. The frame is glass fronted. All beach treasures are mounted onto quality, white card or directly onto the frame itself. Love will come to you, carefully wrapped in tissue paper, in a protective box. Postage is free!
