Unframed Gicle Fine Art Print. 30cm x 30cm. This is an unframed Gicle Fine Art print of my Rockpool in Blue - What a beauty! This Rockpool is a perfect circle, made out of 107 Cornish Blue Mussel shells (my favourite) & 259 tiny, well-tumpled & well-worn Blue Mussel shell pieces. It is a symphony in blue. This Rockpool is really special to me, firstly because it is blue (my favourite colour) but also because it reminds me of a school of fish in the sea, of the movement of the waves in the ocean, the swirling water. The idea for this Rockpool came when I started collecting tiny pieces of brocken Blue Mussel shell. I often just walk past them, not paying them much attention, but when I picked one up I realised how beautifully smooth & worn by the sea it was. I ended up spending hours on the beach, collecting a small bag full to bring home. Most of them I have now used in this picture. They add a perfect frame for the Rockpool & look amazing dotted amongst the whole shells. I was asked so many times if I could offer prints of this beauty, so here they are... Printed on Fuji Fine Art Museum Rough 300gsm paper. Unframed. 30cm x 30cm. This print will surely add a beautiful splash of coastal love to your home or would make a lovely gift for any seaside / beach lover.
