Seaglass, Driftwood & pressed Daisies - A Friendship Rockpool - Original Art work. This little Friendship Rock Pool is a perfect circle, made out of seaglass & driftwood pieces from Seaham, accentuated by pressed daisies. I never visit a beach without starting a collection of interesting finds... pieces of sea glass, pottery, pebbles, shells or drift wood. For this frame I have focused only on pieces of white & green seaglass & gorgeous pieces of driftwood. All of these were collected on the beaches in or near Seaham. The pretty daisies make the seaglass shine. They go so lovely together. This gorgeous panel was crafted with love & attention, choosing only the loveliest of my finds. There are some real treasures within this frame. All the seaside treasures complement the white backdrop perfectly, giving a real feel of seaside, coast & beach life. I spend a long time laying out the pieces first, matching colours, shapes & sizes. Once I am happy with the overall design, each piece is then carefully glued into place. This is an original piece of Art work - no two pieces will ever be the same. This little Friendship Rockpool is a piece of art that would look lovely in any room of the house. It would make a lovely gift for any seaside / beach lover or why not treat yourself. The white box frame measures 27cm x 27cm (10.5inch x 10.5inch). The frame has a stand but can also be hung on a wall. The frame is glass fronted. All beach treasures are mounted onto quality white mounting board.
