Vintage antique botanical illustration or original book plate with wildflowers & plants. This is an original plate from a book printed in Copenhagen, Denmark in 1913. The details & colors are beautiful. & the page has the beautiful yellowing that only comes with age. It can be framed or simply attached to a wall with washi tape. Botanical illustrations look fantastic in a group. I have carefully removed the pages from the book that could not be saved as the spine had loosened. You will get the exact page shown in the first photo. The other photos shows an example of how to display a group of illustrations & shows the first page of the book with the printers information & the year of print. The page measures app. 10 inches/ 25 cm in height 6 3/4 inches/ 17 cm in width The page is in great condition. There is a bit of wear & yellowing as expected for a book, that is more than a hundred years old. Please take a look at the photos. Example of display with four pages & printers page not included. It will be shipped flat supported by cardboard. If you buy more illustrations I can probably fit them all in the same envelope.
