Reclaimed rustic wooden bench with industrial hairpin legs. These were originally church pews (see photos) but have now been remodeled into stylish benches. The pews have been dissmantled & cut to size. All the edges have been planed to create a smooth clean finish. The surface has been sanded down to remove the original dark varnish, while leaving the wear & tear to maintain their charcter & story. Using a dark walnut varnish & a geometric stencil, they been given a trendy stylish design feature that really brings them to life. They've been fitted with 3 rod industrial hairpin legs making them not only very on trend but incredibly sturdy. Finally they've been given 3 thorough coats of clear durable lacquer. The wood itself is 3cm in depth & very beautiful quality. This wood has been providing seating for many people for 45+ years & will go on to provide seating for many many more years to come. They also come saturated in many years of holy prayers! Please note the bench will require assembling. The legs just need to be screwed into the PRE drilled holes! All you'll need is a cross head screw driver.. It's very simple! The bench sizes will accommodate the following amount of people: 90cms = 2 120cms = 3 150cms = 4 based on an average size person.
