Have you ever thought 'I wish my whippets raincoat could fit like a jumper' ? I have & that's why we've designed this new shower proof jumper for your hound. The Jura is made from soft shell on the top with a lining of cosy fleece to keep your dog drier than just a jumper giving them the freedom of movement so many need when out on adventures. The Jura shower proof whippet jumper is a very popular style for active whippets, but the soft shell repels water but isn't stretchy so, how can we make a jumper out of it? By putting soft shell fabric on the top & lining it with fleece - that's how! It's now been tried & tested on all sizes. The Jura Whippet Jumper is the answer if you love our jumpers but live where walks are often wet & jumpers get a bit soggy. Just like the Isle of Jura - a name suggested by one of our customers. If you want fuller coverage, please take a look at our coat range. BUT if you want a jumper to pull on that will keep your dogs back dry in drizzle or light rain but also keep your dog warm - this is the one. Yes the underneath will get a few mud splats but it's washable & the worst of it can be brushed off when dry. What you need to know? 5 sizes to choose from 3 colours - Blush/Claret, Black/Cinnamon, Teal/Duck Egg Fabric: Water resistant soft shell upper & fleece under Washable at 30 degrees Made in Kent from our original pattern Anything else? It's based on our Gilet Jumper so has a bit of wriggle room in the sizes & there is room for a tee shirt underneath - if you want to layer it over a fleece jumper you might need to size up. It's an outdoor garment - not suitable for lounging in! A word about sizes We aren't offering this in our XS/Italian Greyhound size because it is very tricky to make & the smaller you go the harder it is to finish to our high standards. The XL should fit up to 22kgs, but remember, the taller the dog the harder it will be to get the second leg in, we have made adaptions for this in the pattern but our sizes fit whippets best. How to wear it? Go solo or slip on over a long leg tee. You could put it under a mac, for extra protection in really bad weather but I don't know of many whippets that will go out in these conditions!
