This is a large, stunning, vintage (1980) stoneware piece signed & dated by Potter Lisa Knaus of Highland, NY. Although the light in the photos does not really capture it, this pot is characterized by unusually rich, golden earth tones that have a warm ever-so-slight luster. It is also one of those pieces of pottery that is as much a tactile delight as it is a visual one. The clay seems to undulate slightly beneath your hands as they move across its natural surface of alternating smooth & textured clay. A statement piece in any room, it stands 9 tall & is 6 wide.
