Bukit Lawang, Sumatra is home to the Bohorok Orangutan Sanctuary. Back in the day you could visit the rehabilitation centre itself as part of your backpacking travel through Sumatra, Indonesia - I believe that part has closed now - but you can still do a jungle trek & hopefully see the beautiful orangutans in the jungle or failing that, get to see them come in for feeding at the centre. A percentage of the profits from sales of this mug will be donated to the Sumatran Orangutan Society.
