VINTAGE ERCOL QUAKER ROCKING CHAIR, MODEL 428, in TRADITIONAL DARK STAIN This stylish, iconic, collectable - & very practical - vintage Ercol Quaker rocking chair, Model 428, was made in the 1960s or early 1970s & is in good original condition. The rocker is in Ercol's traditional dark stain & still has its blue label. Ercol's Quaker rocking chair is a timeless classic (it first appeared in Ercol's 1956 catalogue) that would grace any home, whether traditional or modern. Please note while this model of rocking chair is smaller than some others made by Ercol, it is adult-sized, & is marketed by Ercol as an adult's chair. The chair is made from elm (seat) & beech (frame). It is in good original condition. Strong & sturdy, with no major damage, repairs or loose joints, there are some signs of use, as would be expected for a well-loved chair of this age. Please see the images in close-up to check the chair's condition. Dimensions: H85cm x W61cm x D71cm. The seat is 38cm high. DELIVERY A delivery or courier cost has not been included as this will depend both on your location & how the item is delivered.
