This is a stunning top quality hallway / console or side table manufactured by the American Furniture makers Drexel. It is part of the Heritage Sketchbook range of furniture they manufactured & is a rare find. The top of the table is in a banded burl wood with parquetry design & is truly stunning. The solid wood frame has a wonderful colour & grain & has been given a rustic distressed look & to give it an old world look of days gone by & is believed to be fruitwood. The table is top quality made & very solid & heavy & is in excellent condition. It has a handy lower shelf with a drawer & brass ring pull handle. It would take centre stage in any entryway, hall, living room, kitchen / diner, or in a commercial environment such as a pub, restaurant or hotel. This is a rare find.
