Magnificent vintage 3 piece set consisting of a sugar bowl, a creamer & a serving tray by Dirilyte. Dirilyte, originally called Dirigold, is not a plated product but a bronze alloy invented in 1914 by Swedish metallurgist Carl Molin. The pattern is called Regal & you can see why with it's lovely art deco style! All pieces are marked Dirilyte on the bottom. They are elegant & have a heft weight to them. Advertising for Dirilyte said We also offer the discriminatory hostess today's fullest, finest line of golden-hued table accessories, to help make any table service beautifully complete . . . & completely beautiful. The tray measures approximately 9 1/2 inches in length & 6 1/4 inches wide. The sugar & creamer are approximately 3 1/2 inches in height. They are in good vintage condition with no chips or dents. The tray does have surface scratches commensurate with age. The sugar bowl has wear to the BP - bonded protectant that was applied to pieces after 1961 - on the side & the foot.
