In my opinion, Dubai is currently the most exciting city from an architectural standpoint, & this includes one of the tallest & most exciting buildings in the world, The Burj Khalifa. Nowhere in the world is there such a collection of unique & architecturally creative buildings as in Dubai. Standing at approx. 2,600 ft., the Burj is currently the world's tallest building. Located in Dubai, UAE, & built by EmmAR, this building is truly magnificent. No matter where you are in the city or its outskirts, this building is visible from everywhere. My mission while I was in Dubai was to try & capture its stunning architecture, & the Burj Khalifa was on the top of my list. After visiting the top of the tower, with its magnificent views of the city core & the sunset, I wanted to capture a unique view of the tower, lit up at night. This image of the Burj was taken at night & from street level specifically to allow the lighting at the various levels to accent the exterior's complex yet symmetric shapes from the bottom to the very tip. The motion in the clouds & detail in the building's windows, levels made this a truly statement piece. You can get a sense of scale & height of this beautiful structure.
