Early 19th century Georgian sterling silver lady's mug / Christening cup. Baluster body is raised on a round foot; the top is trimmed with a beautiful high-relief border depicting flowers, foliage & fruit. The foliate scrolling handle is reeded & decorated with a central flower motif. Made by Joseph Angell I & fully hallmarked for London, 1817. 200.84 g / 6.46 t oz 10 cm tall to handle 6.5 cm diameter across the top 10.5 cm across from handle Great antique condition.
