A very attractive, impressive & unusual set of 4 vintage Windsor chocolate brown dining chairs. Made of solid wood in the Windsor chair style (without glue or screws), these are super sturdy yet delicate in design. Beautifully crafted with lovely matching turned legs, H-stretchers & back uprights, sculpted oyster-shaped seats, weighty top rails & unusual, striking & shapely carved 'arrow back' slats, these are a very attractive set of dining chairs with a hint of rustic farmhouse charm. We estimate they date back to the 1960s/70s & the undersides have some faded stamp markings which might indicate they were MADE in ROMANIA or GERMANY, though we can't quite make it out, but either way they are very lovely. They also come with cushions if required. CONDITION Finished in a lovely chocolate brown lacquer, they are in very good vintage condition with only a few marks to the lacquer which could be touched up - please see the photos.
