Etsy - robsonlinedesigns Glasgow Subway Three Generations Of Trains Hand Drawn Design Mug With List Station Stops
Description
Opened in December 1896, the Glasgow Subway is the world's third oldest metro system. Over the decades the Subway has used three different types of rolling stock: the original, wooden carriages which remained in service until 1977, the familiar 'tube' type design which was introduced in 1980 and, most recently, an ultra-modern design built by the Swiss railway engineering firm, Stadler. All three of these designs are featured on this mug, alongside the various official names used by the Glasgow Subway over the years (i.e the 'Glasgow District Subway' & the 'Glasgow Underground'), & the names of all 15 stations served. Whether you're drinking your morning coffee, evening tea, or something in between - this mug's for you! It's sturdy & glossy with a vivid print that'll withstand the microwave & dishwasher.
