This rustic red cedar was salvaged from a group of fallen trees from the Huntsville Alabama tornado outbreak in 2011. This crafted bench would make a great addition to any patio or outdoor space. The piece represents a melding of rustic aged cedar & industrial steel beam construction. It is fabricated from thick gauge square tube forming a solid & sturdy infinity base which has been fully fusion welded & sealed/treated with a rugged diamond clear coating. The finishing offers the most extreme protection from the outside elements. The seating surface was meticulously planed & rough sanded & treated with multiple coatings of exterior grade spar varnish, wet sanded & then followed by polishing sequence to a produce a gloss sheen. The bench seat surface is 18 tall with the top measuring 12 wide to 14 at the ends & is 6-1/2 feet in length. Approximate weight of the bench is at least 100lb.
