The charm line dinnerware was produced in the early 1950's & it's one of the less common pieces. This pattern is hard to find. A true collectors item! jadeite glassware has a rich history dating back to the early 20th century when it was created as an affordable alternative to jade. in the mid 1940s, Fire King division of Anchor Hocking introduced dinnerware lines such as Alice, Jane Ray & Restaurant Ware including vases, refrigerator dishes, pitchers, mixing bowls & many more items that were available in several colors including the successful Jadeite. Jadeite glassware was widely used in many American kitchens & household during the mid-20th century. It was known for its durability, heat resistance, & ease of cleaning, making it a popular choice for everyday kitchen use. Most Fire King Jadeite is marked with some variety of the company's Fire King logo. some pieces that were special orders for specific stores or promotions, have no mark. Today Jadeite glassware has become one of the most desirable dinnerware & highly collectible. Great vintage condition, not used much, if at all! tiny flea bite on the inner side of the spout not really visible ( you have to look for it), See photos for more info. Please note that during the manufacturing of Jadeite glass in that period , quality control was not a major concern of the companies, so inherent swirls , slight color differences & small imperfections/ flee bits are (mainly on the edges) might be appear on the items.
