Here is an antique pillow cover from the early 1900s, Edwardian era. It is a Society Silk hand embroidered pillow cover made of a beige linen or linen & cotton blend. The embroidery threads are silk. There are three large roses, two in red & one in dark & light pink. There are also scattered falling pink petals. This has some light soiling above the pink rose. Area measures 2 by 1. Hard to see. in my opinion, they do not detract from the beauty of the pillow cover. This piece can also be used as a wall hanging or art. Very nice example of the Edwardian Arts & Crafts period. It measures 19 square, not including the edge, & 20 3/4 square with the looped fringe edge. Please magnify photos & ask me any questions you may have. Sold as found. Thanks!
