This adorable handcrafted bronze plaque features my friend Owl reading a book (well... snoozing, really). This is part of my bronze plaque series Owl Has a Nice Night. 100% hand crafted using sculpture building techniques & bronze casting. This plaque is a limited series of 5 pieces. Each is signed & numbered & comes with a certificate of authenticity. The plaque is 4.5 tall by 5 wide. It is about 1/2 inch thick at the thickest part of the plaque. The plaque is weighty but not too heavy to hang. It weighs about 2.5 pounds. Perfect for the bathroom, nursery, kids room, office, front door, hallway, or anywhere you want a bit of unique art that will make you smile. It can be hung outside - the bronze has been waxed to seal in the patina. If hung outside, simply reapply the wax on a yearly basis (Trewax from the hardware store works fine). A hand made picture hanger has been welded to the back to make hanging easy. You can pick between an antiqued bronze finish (shown in main photos) or a bright finish (see owl in a bath picture).
