Gorgeous bright statement prints for your home. I painted this series in bright highly pigmented watercolours & added some fine pen lines for details. This is a fun series & you can choose which fruit or veg suit your decor. You will receive 1 archival quality print on 308 gsm (heavy) paper. It is ready for you to purchase a standard frame or take to a local picture framer to create their magic with it. GRAPES: When I painted 'grapes' I had in mind a gorgeous vineyard maybe in the south of France, it's rocky hillside & dry terrain that produce exquisite wines, the grapes being harvested & crushed by hand (or by foot) in those big vats. Grapes would sit beautifully alongside 'Pomegranate' or 'lemons' to create a warm corner to your room to dream of far away places. WATERMELON: Watermelons are one of those fruits that bring feelings of hot summer days, juicy cool freshness & young children playing in the garden. This artwork will bring a freshness to your decor & teamed with other artworks in this series you will bring those glorious feelings into your home. I loved painting this, it has a lovely flow of the watercolours mixing on the paper shade of greens on the skin & pinks, reds & peach in the juicy flesh. STRAWBERRY: Strawberries to me are the fruit that decorate cakes or pavlovas, sitting proud on the top like a gorgeous crown. I have just started to grow my own in the garden & their taste is so much more delightful than the supermarket ones. Picking my own inspired this artwork & it was a joy to paint. LEMONS: Lemons have a freshness about them, the colour & their smell are both a favourite of mine. I love them in food, little lemon cakes or a glorious lemon meringue pie, I am there for it. The freshness of lemon zest is the smell & feeling I had when painting these beauties. POMEGRANATE: I love a gorgeous pomegranate, such an exquisite colour & the little orbs of goodness they contain. I love adding them to a salad, their freshness create a burst of delight. Painting this was a joy, the little beads contained in the centre of the pomegranate were fun & the subtle colours of the flesh around them are the softest blush imaginable. CARROT: My dog loves carrot They are his favourite thing to eat & play with. The carrot was fun to paint I loved the vibrant orange & the loose interpretation of their floppy leaves. AVOCADO: Sitting at your favourite cafe eating Avo on toast, this is what I was thinking about when I painted this one. Friends chatting with a coffee around the table at Sunday brunch. LEMONS: I love them, in a pie, cake, a gorgeous drink or something delicious for dinner. The freshness & of course the bright yellow skin what's not to love. PINEAPPLE: This is summer, seeing them grow in Queensland row after row with their proud crowns is a glorious site. BEETROOT: I have always loved their colour, food for me is about colour, add some beetroot to a burger or salad & the colour burst is a feast for the eye. The earthyness of raw
