I love everything about this 1950s Irish linen tea towel depicting Piccadilly Circus, it is such a wonderful historical scene! From the Coca Cola, Guinness, Gordons Gin & Bovril advertising signs to the bustling pedestrians, red London buses, the Royal Mail van & the policeman directing traffic, this lovely textile design captures so much about London life at this time. The more you look at the design the more you see. This would look wonderful framed as a piece of wall art. It measures 29.5 inches high by 20 inches wide & is in very good overall condition & looks to have hardly been used if at all, the colours are fresh & bright.
