This image was shot at Portreath harbour on the north coast of Cornwall in March 2021. As Cornwall endured one of its notorious storms, the waves inside Portreath harbour battered the walls of the pier leading to the famous 'Monkey Hut'. Using a 10-stop neutral density filter, this image was taken using a 30 second exposure to blur the movement of the water kicked up by the high winds. This print is hand-signed, dated & titled on high quality Kodak lustre paper which renders the highlights, shadows & colours beautifully while adding a subtle textured finish. This image was shot & edited by a Cornish photographer & printed by a Cornish media company using a Canon imagePROGRAF iPF8400 & using the highest quality Canon inks.
