Description
Santa Fir is a sparkling little fellow that would look fabulous on any Christmas tree. I stitched this Mill Hill designed ornament in two pieces on antique brown perforated paper using seven shades of floss & three varieties of cream beads, two shades of green beads & red beads. Bead loops & clusters give a dimensional look to Santa's beard & mustache, making this small ornament a true standout. After I completed all of the stitching, I trimmed away the excess paper, added the star to the top of the tiny tree & then placed the tree in Santa's hands. Santa Fir measures approximately 2 x 2.25 (5.1 cm x 5.7 cm), making him the perfect size for the upper branches of your tree. This ornament would also be ideal for a tabletop tree.
