Large porcelain mug, hand thrown & decorated in a hydrangea design. This generous mug holds 16 oz of your favorite hot or cold beverage & is dishwasher & microwave safe. A little bit about the process used to create this design: The hydrangeas are hand painted with lead free underglazes, then carved through to create the individual hydrangeas while the clay is still damp. Once the pot has been fired once (called the bisque firing), the stems of the hydrangeas are then hand painted. A clear glaze is then applied & the pot is fired a second time to about 2165 degrees.
