A mysterious & graceful Whale Shark made from Brass to hang on your wall. The smaller of 2 original Whale Shark sculptures available in this shop. I sculpted this Shark in clay, made a mould & cast this piece out in Brass. It has been patinated with liver of sulphur & polished to bring out stunning highlights & subtle natural tonal variations. The black Patina gives this piece a lovely antique feel. It's 39cm(15.5) from end to end, the casting is backed with fibreglass so is both lightweight & very strong. It comes fitted with a small sawtooth picture hanger so is easy to hang & sits flush to the wall. It is lacquered to protect the metal from moisture so it's suitable for display in a Bathroom or Kitchen area if desired. Please see my other listings for the larger whale shark pictured.
