Holmegaard Danish Cylindrical Glass Bud Stem Vase 1950s 1960s Part of the popular Akva range of blue-hued clear glass. Tall elegant vase, ideal for a single statement flower. Model number 220277, designed by Per Ltken in 1952 for Danish glass house Holmegaard. Would make a wonderful present for any lover of Scandinavian & modernist designs. Handmade in Denmark in the period 1952-74. Has its manufacturer's name, model number & designer's initials etched on to its base. Measures approximately 24cm high & 5cm wide. Excellent vintage condition with only very minor signs of age. The last photo shows it with other items from Holmegaard's Akva range, available for separate purchase.
