Vintage Danish Soholm Pottery Ceramic Table Lamp. Small studio pottery lamp, handmade in Denmark in the 1960s/70s. A rare & very pretty little table lamp. Has a deep blue glaze with warm caramel amber & iridescent powder blue highlights. The lower half features a geometric textured design. Has the manufacturer's name & model number etched to its base. Handmade by Soholm Pottery on the Baltic island of Bornholm, Denmark in the 1960s. 21cm high, including the lamp holder, & 8.5cm wide at the base. Excellent vintage fully working condition. The price includes re-wiring with high quality, Italian-made fabric cable & a new plug, replacing old, worn fittings if required. You have the opportunity to choose the cable colour from a choice of black, white, dark brown, dark blue, light blue, burnt orange & old gold. It will be rewired with vintage style braided fabric cable & a new switch, retaining its original lamp holder if practicable. We can fit a British/Irish, European, Aus/NZ plug or American plug. It takes a E27 lightbulb, maximum 60w (not included). If used in the USA/100/110/120v we recommend using an energy saving/LED bulb. E26 bulbs should work but because they are 1mm smaller they should be fully turned to ensure they make contact with the fitting. This lamp will take a European type/size lampshade with a ring of 1.5 inches (3.6cm) or alternatively a lampshade that sits on the light bulb. Full details of lampshades can be found under FAQs. If this lamp is bought by a UK customer we can rewire the lamp with a vintage style metal B22 lampholder in either an aged brass or zinc finish, which will complement this pretty little lamp beautifully. Note that we have attempted to show & state the condition as accurately as possible but this is a pre-loved, vintage item & some minor signs of age and/or use are to be expected. There may also be slight variations in the colours shown due to lighting, the camera lens & the device the image is viewed through. Handmade items may have slight imperfections, such as air bubbles in glass, which add to their uniqueness & charm.
