Vintage Soholm Pottery Danish Ceramic Table Lamp Very large, rare, handmade 1960s/70s Danish ceramic lamp. An impressive large & unusually-shaped lamp with a warm iridescent glaze that you can see many different colours in as you look at it. Features a glossy warm pecan brown coloured glaze. Has many highlight colours including sea green & dark pink in a pleasing geometric textured relief design. Designed by Soholm Stentoj (Pottery) on the Baltic island of Bornholm. Handmade in Denmark in the 1960s/70s. Has its manufacturer’s details on its base. It is 34cm high including the white lampholder & 12cm wide at its widest point. Excellent fully working vintage condition with only very minor signs of age. _________________________________________________________ It has been rewired with a vintage style brown braided fabric cable. We can fit a UK/Irish, European, Aus/NZ plug or American plug. It takes a E27 lightbulb, maximum 60w (not included). in the photos is a vintage style LED Filament G95 lightbulb (not included). If used in the USA/100/110/120v we recommend using an energy saving/LED bulb. E26 bulbs should work but because they are 1mm smaller they should be fully turned to ensure they make contact with the fitting. This lamp will take a European type/size lampshade with a ring diameter of 1.5 inches (3.6cm) or alternatively a lampshade that sits on the light bulb.
