I am sorry but I am no longer able to sell or ship to the EU. Since Dec 13, 2024 the EU Consumer Goods General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) has requirements that as an independent small vendor I am unable to meet. Thank you so much to all my previous EU buyers & supporters. It has been my utmost pleasure to work with you.This medium large bowl is glazed inside & out with deep glossy Obsidian black glaze. Inside the concave surface, bands of Seaweed green & Blue Rutile crisscross in watery waves.. A richly coloured bowl to grace your table, or as a lovely gift. Tooled foot, signed & dated by the artist, Leanne Franson 2023. Individual variations of screens & lighting may affect the look of the colour compared to the actual item. Slight surface imperfections in the body & glaze are part of the unique handmade quality of these one of a kind pieces. Approximately 2 1/8 (5.3cm) high by 5 5/8 (14.5cm) diameter in the center. Holds approx 7/8 cups (230 ml) comfortably. Thrown on the wheel, glazed with Potter's Choice food safe glazes, This particular bowl was glazed while still raw clay, & so, instead of having a bisque & a glaze firing, it was single fired, all at once to Cone 6. This bowl is boiling water, microwave & dishwasher friendly. However the finish will last longer if not exposed to harsh dishwasher detergents & washed by hand instead. All ceramics are fragile if knocked or dropped. They are also subject to heat shock: Do not take ceramics directly from cold & subject them to hot, & vice versa. For example, do not take this bowl from the freezer & put in the oven, or pour ice water into it when it hot. It is perfectly fine to put hot or cold foods into it when room temperature, or heat it from room temperature in the microwave or a cool oven. It is medium fire (cone 6) stoneware, & if treated like your other ceramic dinnerware, should last for generations. Please take a look at my other pottery on offer. Shipping should take about 5 business days once mailed (1-2 days) to Canada, 8-9 days (untracked air) to USA, overseas from North America, which can take 1-3 MONTHS by ground (8-10 business days by air). Upgrade options are available: 2 days for Canada, 7 days (tracked air) to USA, & 5-7 days by air for overseas with a shipping upgrade. Please note that these times are reasonable estimates given by Canada Post, & I cannot guarantee them.
