This is a lovely original antique Japanese ginger jar. It is from a studio in Kyoto Japan called KinkozanIt & is Kinkozan awata kyo-yaki satsuma. It is ceramic pottery & has been beautifully hand painted. It measures 4 1/2 inches or 11.5 cm tall & 4 inches or 10 cm in diameter. The top lid has a repaired break as photographed.
