We also sell them in Clear glass. This aurora borealis iridescent model is quite stunning. The light emitting through the beads makes a superb pastel rainbow effect glow. The bulb cover is like a sleeve / jacket for your light bulb! Simply slide the cover over the light bulb & fasten the metal hook that secures it. Insert the bulb into the bulb holder as normal remembering not to handle it when hot. THIS IS ONE OF TWO SHAPES WE HAVE FOR SALE. THIS IS THE CANDLE BUlb VARIANT (AS OPPOSED TO THE STANDARD GLS NEWTON SHAPED BUlb). MAxIMUM COMPATIBLE BUlb IS 40WATT. PLEASE NOTE: THIS ITEM DOES NOT INCLUDE LIGHT BUlb! This candle cover features circular glass beads held together with wire woven through them. As a word of warning, it can take several attempts to dress your light bulb & make it look symmetrical. That said, I am quite fussy about that sort of thing! These covers are an ideal & practical solution to bare light bulbs whether on a lamp base or hanging from the ceiling. They are particularly effective on chandeliers & light fittings with multi arm light points as an alternative to fussy looking lampshades . They are also effective in small spaces such as closets but can just as easily be a cool feature for a large room. Also very striking when dressed on a coloured light bulb. Dimensions: 72 MM HIGH APPROx' Please Note: As mentioned, if fussy like me, it may take a few attempts to position the cover over the bulb so that it sits straight & the metal hook that secures the sleeve together might need careful manipulation with pliers & a steady hand.
